View Full Version : Pioneer SX-850 as preamp/tuner WhiteSE 10-29-2005, 06:36 PM I just realized that the Sx-850 has jumpers in a pre-out/power-in... Can I plug a tube amp thru that connection? If yes, whats the connection sequence? Just use a pair of good quality sheilded RCA interconnects to connect the pre-out jacks on the receiver to the input jacks on the amp(s). soundoc03 10-30-2005, 10:51 PM Just was going to try this myself on my SX-828 which suddenly has no sound despite the tuner functioning. I noticed though that the RCAs were really so closely spaced that none of my good ICs would fit! *&*()%$! |
