Listening to this classic piece on a "Positively 60's" CD compilation and once again I start wondering if there's a nice clean remaster or better recording of it. You know, one that really demands to be cranked up.
All the ones I've ever heard really don't do this song justice.
Well, maybe I just need to find another 1962 Ford Fairlane with an 8 track player and a bunch of TV speakers jammed all over the place to get it sounding right :lmao:

I have a Best of Spencer Davis Group CD on EMI that does pretty good justice to the recordings...given the fact that the original UA 45's didn't sound all that great to begin with.

There is always the Great White cover on "Shot in the Dark". No I am not being a smartass.

That's obvious, Whiskey. By mentioning Great Whitesnake you are being a DUMBass! :kissy:

If this is you trying to be humorous, do it somewhere else because you really don't have the knack.

If you honestly believe that the only reason that someone else's tastes and preferences could differ from your own is that the disagreeing party is stupid, then your personality is fucked up royally.

Hey Andy,
in my humble opinion, 90% of the remasters are crap.

I love the Spencer Davis version, but IMHO, the Blues Brothers version is right up there with it!
