I found this in a box in the garage and decided to give it a listen. Surprisingly I like a good deal of the songs. Also surprising is the recording quality. It doesn't sound really compressed.

LaGrange, Tush, Blue Jean Blues, Heard it on the X, and some others

Love that "little ole band from Texas." First saw them when in high school in '71--'72 -- they played at a gym at Eastern New Mexico State Univ. in Portales, NM. Needless to say this was before the big stardom to come -- but did they crank!

Saw them years later during the "Tush"-era tour and I think the stage dB was about 110.

They've given back too -- helping blues musicians in Texas.

How many times have you stood around a keg with car speakers blaring out "Jesus just left Chicago...."

Some of the best Video's ever made (from a guy who loves long legs point of view) were the early ZZ Top's

I've been a fan for 30 years or so,saw them 6 or 7 times.They always put on a great show.To this day, the hair on the back of my neck stands up when I hear
"Blue Jean Blues".
