KNowng your affinity for Viking MEtal and that type of thing, thought I'd see if yr familiar with FinnTroll. My son got a vid-clip of them earlier today, and is interested. Pretty cool music, the metal-style vox kinda put me off, but not all the way out of the room.

Oh my gosh. Toze into viking metal? The good book says there would be signs and wonders before the 2nd coming. It must be getting close.

Finnish Folk Metal- it has a polka beat. Seriously.

I have 4 or 5 of theirs, one is more folk than metal, great stuff. :)
Actually they do occaisionally play acoustic sets at folk fests over there.
I have one on Century Media so some are now released here. I had to buy the earlier ones out of Russia to avoid paying 45 bucks a pop out of Scandia.
There is also In Extremo, a German group who also does a full realm but usually guitar bass and drums "metal" with medieval acoustic instuments.
Their is a group called Gyte which has me ready to pull the trigger. They aren't so much metal as medieval gothic. :) though. Don't think they will
get a US release though. :sigh:
