There are so many...

Some of my favorites are: Floyd Cramer's Christmas album, the Ventures' Christmas Album, A Charlie Brown Christmas soundtrack, Mannheim Steamroller's A Fresh Aire Christmas.

I have more, but I have to consult my collection and then report back.

All right folks.....lay some great Xmas music on us... :music:

I've mentioned The Statler Brothers' "Christmas Wishes" a couple of times, just a regular cd, forget the manufacturer.

Others: Mantovanis' "Christmas Carols" - Old London lp, excellent

Handels' "Messiah", got a couple pressings, I find myself going back to the Archiv digital lp set. I play this occasionally year-round, but always straight through Christmas morning.

Rivers' "Twisted Christmas" on cd is always a hoot.

Vince Guaraldi's Charlie Brown Christmas soundtrack is my absolute favorite.
Trans-Siberian Orchestra - Christmas Eve and Other Stories
Trans-Siberian Orchestra - Chrismas Attic
Lynyrd Skynyrd - Christmas Time Again
Jethro Tull - The Christmas Album

When I was child, my parents would always play Christmas music on Christmas Day. One particular album that always got played consisted of songs sung Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, Burl Ives, Dean Martin, Bob Hope, Percy Faith and the like. I wish I could find something like that again.

The new Diana Krall Christmas album is fantastic. So good I might wind up playing it in summer.

THIS is the beauty of thrift store lps, you might even be able to find something like this in the summer! Maybe 30 copies.

Sound q - eh. But the memories are priceless.

I have the jacket to that Mantovani... but there was a different record inside it! Just a dump find, so not a great tragedy.
