does anyone know what lamps sansui 5000x use? my receiver's back ground light for right part is out and also all lights for functions are out (loudness, mono, etc.) please help. thanks.

The oem bulbs for the Sansui 5000X are a 6.3v 250ma fuse lamp type bulb. If all of your function lights are out, you may have a problem besides a few burnt out bulbs.
If you can't get these fuse lamps locally, try Bob at vintage electronics(http://www.vintage-electronics.net/lamp.html). He has 6.0v 250ma fuse lamps that function perfectly. I would get several, and replace them all while you have the unit apart. :thmbsp:
