DHL arrived 2 days ago with a large box with a reel to reel deck inside, without ringing the doorbell or knocking on the door, just left it sitting in the rain..
What a stupid driver does that ? :nono:
I was home all day and found it on the front porch soaked all the way thru... :bash: :dammit:

Good grief! What ever happened to "doing ones best", or "pride in workmanship"? Sorry for your troubles brother, I believe a phone call to DHL HQ, is definantly in order.

FedEx did something similar with a pair of Advents left outside the garage door. They pulled plastic bags over the boxes but they were sitting right where the downspout emptied.

Call DHL and let them know. Someone might actually care about service.

During the holiday season you can expect poor service from Fed-Ex-Lax, UPS (aka OOPS), DHL and the USPS. Most hire part-timers which are rushed to get everything on their trucks delivered quickly and they get really careless.

Had a pair of JBL 100's delivered to a buyer from DHL - damaged. Not having much luck yet getting the claim settled. I'll think twice about using DHL again.

Well, I don't know if the carrier was DHL or whomever, but I ordered a new printer for my mom's computer. It arrived quickly, no problem there, but I arrived home to find it sitting in front of my door in its original box.
If someone had wandered by and wanted a printer, they could have walked off with it. I'm amazed it was still there.
At least UPS usually puts my packages in the carport where they are hard to see.

I had a good experience with DHL overnight about five years ago. The package was an Outlaw Audio 1050 receiver. At the time, a friend of mine worked for DHL. Frankly, I would have expected their service to improve after he left the company.

Our UPS guy has started leaving packages on the doorstep without ringing the bell. Fortunately, it's protected form the elements. The bell is right there, and would wake the dead. I don't get it. Perhaps they are under pressure to speed things up.

When Fed Ex start using a new driver in my area, he asked where to put packages if I wasn't home. That's a plus in my book.

UPS always leave packages at a certain place protected from the weather + leave a note on the door.

Nothing good to say about DHL here. They left a damaged tt at the end of the driveway. I'm still having 'conversations' with Customer Service.

Ask for the supervisor, customer service usually listen with the ear closed. :music:
Raise hell seems to work better with DHL.

USPS, UPS and Fedex all go through my back gate and place my packages completely up under my 10x15 aluminum awning right next to my back door. As a result, I always give them $10 at Xmas. They earn it.
