Chat Room Is Live

I have a chat room setup. I've never used this one before, so let's give it a whirl.

You can access it from the main page.

I didn't like it. You have to have an open window where you log in, it doesn't seem to allow you to run the aplet alone. Also it made my computer hang for some reason or another.

My machine is:

Athlon 900
W 98 SE
IE 6

I was in the Chat Room a few times today from work talking to Grumpy, Proac and Kam... had no problems.

From my point of view seems to be working fine Wards.

The room completes this site, more personal than just posting.

on my work machine, the applet seems to need its spawning explorer window to remain open.

interesting idea tho' - nice to chat to some of u guys even if i didnt really say much :-D

Dang...I just got me a new cup of joe...from the java website...that didn't do it either...although I have had java enabled and now I also have the latest cup of java(which is working)

Not sure - I can not access it from work, because of the company firewall. No problem from home. Netscape 4.7 came up first time, Netscape 6.0 required the latest JRE ( java runtime environment )
