What brand and Model# is your TV? Where'd you get it?

It is a Samsung 50" DLP. It is a dig quality reflected screen pic in a TV that is only about 18" deep. It has moving parts and the tube that the lights the pic up for reflection has a life expectency of around 4 to 5 years but is replaceable. So every 5 years or so you replace the parts that will wear out for a few hundred and you have a new TV again. It was $4K at Tweeter but this is new tech and prices should be going down in the future. You can also use it with a computer and it will jump through a couple more hoops. Basically I only care about how it works for movies, which is fantastic. It weighs less than 100 lbs and is easily moved by 2 people.
I am not sure why Julia decided to buy it but am glad she did. It looks great on the rack with the rest of the gear.
Ouchies 4K is a little outta my league :(

Way out of mine too buddy. It took me 18 months to save the $2500 it took to buy my truck. It is funny how hard it is to get things that only I want. How I was able to talk her into the $350 for the Phillips DVD/SACD player a couple of days ago is beyond me.
We watched "The Fifth Element" last night and it was great! I just hooked it up yesterday morning and that was the 1st movie we watched with it. Nice machine for movies and music both.
