I thought it would be more active. What gives?
Everytime I go there in the last 24 hours I'm all alone... boo hoo hooo!!
Anyway, I'm beginning to think it's not working or something!

it'll probably just take a little time to get it going. I was in there today, but just missed the crowd. but I did get to catch Grumpy and Tim before they split. It was kinda cool.

Ive been in there many times for 10min periods with no people commin' in. Have met some people on tho'.
not enough people, and not enough time in the chat - thats probably why its deserted.
ironic thing is - when people go on many times and find its deserted, they try less and less which in turn reduces the chances of someone else finding them online... yeah.
Until we build some critical mass, maybe we should organise some chat talk-times ... basically specific nominated periods during the day where everyone who is online at the regular forums will also log onto chat as well.
As a suggestion, say ...
morning chat ... 7:30am - 8am EST
midday chat ... 12:00pm - 12:30pm EST
early evening chat ... 7:30pm - 8pm EST
late night chat (for insomniacs) ... 11:00pm - 11:30pm EST
Just a bit of a stab in the dark there, maybe someone can suggest better times, but does everyone agree with the concept?
This should mean you can log on at those times and know for certain that there will be someone to chat with.

Add 4 hours and reverse the time of the day (i.e. am = pm etc) ...

It seems to have gone south a bit ... I suggested some time where chat logon be mandatory if you are logged in at the forums, and most people agreed but no one has done it?

I really do think if there was a button linked to the chat room...much as the buttons above...for user cp / register/calander/ members/faq/search/ *chat* /home it would help...this way, no matter what page your at, you can always link up to the chat page.
oh well...most of the time...if I'm visiting the webpage...I'll log into the chat room...just ta try and help get it going...so, If ya see me logged in...most likely I'll be in the chat room as well.

Chris...I have had this happen to me several times before figuring out...just what was going on. There was countless times when people had said they were in the chatroom but I found nobody. Your link on the second page does not(for some reason) bring you to the same chatroom as the one posted on the mian(entry) page.
Perhaps it would help if you deleted or editied the thread you have on the second page of this thread.
