Well in the end I payed more than I wanted but I think I got a really awesome HT reciever, the msrp is $799 and the local Denon guy was selling them for $720 and the cheapest I see them on the net is $443 + shipping so I think I got a good deal:

I had that same receiver, plenty of inputs, and good power. Just keep it well ventilated. I have since upgraded to a Marantz SR8200 because I can get almost anything at cost and I have always loved Marantz. Have fun, please ask us any hook-up questions.

Sounds like you got a deal buddy. 90 watts per with 20 to 20K is good. Some machines will chop the signal to satallites if you run a sub.

As of right now the only things I plan to power with it are the front and rear center channel speakers, the rest will be powered thru seperate amps and plugged into the pre amp outputs so it should run pretty cool.

I am sure I will have mucho questions on connecting everything ;)
