Thanks again to all who expessed well wishes to Carol and I concerning Sophie. She went down hill fast just these past two days and we had to relieve her pain. She went peacefully around 2pm today. She was a great dog giving much more than she ever ask for. Sophie will be missed by all who knew her. No need to respond I just wanted to let everyone know. Thanks, Ross.

Tell Sophie to look for Emmett, the Saint Bernard with the jackrabbit in his mouth. He's waiting for her.

And Boomer, the biggest black Lab you've ever seen, with a bark to match his name. He'll likely be soaking wet, with a Mallard in his mouth.

And:

* Lucifer (Newfoundland/Wolf mix), most vicious/loving pup, an outlaw biker could ever have

* Cheyenne (Great Pyrenese), so smart I never had to teach him a thing, yet he taught me so much... :tears:

* Sheena (Short-haired St. Bernard), so dumb, I was never able to teach her a dang thing. G_d I miss her.

* Nimrod (Bordeaux Mastiff), thought he was people, and was among the best people I've ever known

* Mimi (Nimrod's sister), she was my girl, and I still think of her every day

Then again, she might want to avoid our two beloved katz, Griswold (a Maine Coon "mutt" who lived to age 20) and The Spare Cat (an American Shorthair foundling who survived loss of both eyes and other adversity, only to succumb a few years later to a congenital heart problem).

I am so sorry to hear of your loss, Ross.

Snowball, a yellow lab, and the nicest guy you could ever hope to meet, is probably hitting on her already. He was a real ladies man.
