Does anyone know how to pack the JBL DISCO L222's . Which carrier do I use , and what type of packing is suggested. I have three people want shipping , and I need a carrier that can insure for up to a $1000.

Oh they are 125 lbs each, and almost oversize.

crate and pallet via a trucking company or Forward Air?

I shipped a K'horn from Austin Tx to New Hampshire a few weeks ago. Picked up a trashed pallet behind a store, added plywood to the top for a floor, and built a crate around the speaker. Blocked it well so it wouldn't shift, padding it with pieces of styrofoam. Must have weighed 350 lbs or more when I got through with it. Shipped Roadway for about $320, terminal to terminal. Guy on the other end said he could get a truck and pick it up, so that saved over $100. Residential pickup and delivery is an expensive extra. Roadway made it easy to track, their people were helpful and friendly. Oh, and they didn't charge extra for insurance. Good luck!
