View Full Version : A Better FLAC Plug-in

I've been using the standard FLAC plug-in for Winamp for years now. Currently, I'm running Winamp 5.12 with Flac Decoder v1.1.2 and I'm still having the same troubles that have always plagued me with this format. Playing the files results is a fairly high Page Fault delta (60-150 per second), which means that Winamp drags down my system's resources accumulatively until something freezes or Winamp crashes, quite often losing many of my settings and the current playlist. This is getting to be intolerable. :nono:
So, does anyone know of a good FLAC plug-in that isn't so dang glitchy?

The thing is, I've a Logitech keyboard with media keys on the top that I'm quite fond of. While it is possible to modify a certain .INI to make it work with Foobar (and I've done it before), the result is very intermittent to the point where it can take multiple button presses to make it do anything. Also, I still use some MP3s and prefer the very good sounding MAD plug-in for that, but I am unaware of it being compatible with Foobar.
Thanks for the suggestion, though.
