But it is so digital. Couldn't you have found a vintage analog version? ;)

Thor,

Go on, tell us the truth. You just bought it because it has the JBL logo on it right? :)

That's probably as much a JBL item as anything now that says Altec on it is made by Altec! IMO. Have you seen the Harley Davidson television sets? I rest my case.

I've got 4 remotes on my coffee table. So far not a problem. That looks like an interesting 'experiment' though. Good luck my friend. Please keep us posted.

Anyone got the picture where a guy just tapped his five remotes to a block of 2 by 4 wood?

More than anything it's a Microsoft remote, in the review I read they called it a Harmon Kardon remote with the same model # as this "JBL" one. I figure for $55 bucks total with shipping I can't go wrong, if you look at the review they software you use on your PC to program it with looks pretty easy to work with. Can't wait to try it out.

Anyone remember that thing in "The Onion" about the "new remote controlled remote"?
"No more leaning forward to get remote from coffee table means greater convenience for TV viewers.":D :D
