Some line-array blurb.
Funny how older speakers have a somewhat DIY look to them. I wonder how they cut the baffles - by hand with a jigsaw?
aiconn 02-14-2006, 06:08 PM I may have to look into these myself. I did inquire how far from Little Rock they're located. :scratch2:
Alright! About time one of us Arkies bollied some speaks! :D
Kencat 02-14-2006, 06:57 PM Nice to see them being sold in two pcs instead of 34 pcs.

I hear you. I've seen a lot of classic JBL speakers parted out recently on Ebay. It's a very sad.
aiconn 02-14-2006, 09:41 PM Woohoo! They're in Conway...right down the street from where I work. The "I may" is getting more interesting. :zoom:

Nope, Infinity did even better with this model (http://www.infinity-classics.de/infinity/models/IRS-series+Beta+Gamma-Delta-Sigma-Epsilon-1988-95-98/IRS/body_irs.html) at 54 drivers per channel.
Just kidding. I know those Kick arse!
Dern right! Gotta love these big, ol' Infinities.

Well ya know dreams happen all the time around here...
Shipping ain't much of a problem, if you remember one little fact, it's called AK Pony Express.
Trust me it works!
If you call on your friends, we can sometimes make it happen :thmbsp:
Sorry don't mean to ad insult to injury :)

Hooo Baabbby ! good thing you said "just kidding" I woulda been joining JP with my favorite bat paying you a visit. :bash:
Just kidding :D
Kabuki - defined by mega drivers crammed into no-space with no-thought in flea-weight cabinets.
Infinities - opposite to the above. Try moving one of these, you'll understand.

SicMan,
What Army says here I think is true. If I was in the area, and could help out another Aker get something like this, I'ld be in in a flash.
You buy her, and I think it would arrive at your place somehow. Just ask.

Hey thanks, yes I get that feeling here alot of people help out in many ways. That Pony Express idea is excellent.
I sat down in front of a set of those in a listening room in a Tech HI-FI in Wesport Ct. and listened to the Dark Side of The Moon album. :music: Well that convinced me. That day I bought my 1st Q3's.
Hey ARMY! did you ever contact Jim that works the speakers? :scratch2:
