The other day I was in the public library, looking at the CD rack for new stuff. I happened to find Jackson Browne's Running On Empty, but thought it was kinda weird, being a two-disc set. Looking closer, I find that the second disc in the set is DVD-Audio!
My local library tends to buy music that is, shall we say, inexpensive. Budget. Cut-outs. On sale. So to find a DVD-Audio disc in their mix was a surprise, to say the least.
Or...
Is DVD-Audio so much of a commercial flop that we'll start seeing closeouts and clearances of the discs? Already, Best Buy and Media Play in my area took out the SACD and DVD-Audio displays due to poor sales.
