Well after having it set up for a week or so I have two observations.
For surround sound in movies the thing is awesome.
But for music I have one big complaint.
As you may remember I have had to use my CV's as rear surround speakers for one huge reason, not enough room to put them next to the TV since the 15"ers in the bottoms of the CV's are acting as the subs in the HT setup and I can't get them far enough away from the HDTV so that the vibrations won't affect the TV. This is not a big deal in HT but in music it is. For some reason when playing music the receiver is not sending the full range of sound to the tops of the CV's, not a big deal in HT but it has a big effect on how music sounds compared to what I am used to. The CV's have lost alot of punch from the top. I can easily tell this by cranking some of the "benchmark" songs I always play for people to show them off and I have people put their hands behind and feel the air moving out of the ports. Well now I crank those songs and I feel hardly any air moving. It may be some setting some where I am missing but I have looked and I have tried several things. Sound from the front speakers sounds fabulous but the sound is not right coming out of the rears (CV's) So it looks like I gotta buy some more Y's and IC's and put my Lux pre amp back into the mix for music listening.
