This Monster video cable is one that I've used for years between my CDP and preamp. I no longer have the packaging, so I don't know what Monster claims about this cable. I also am not sure of the 'grade' of this cable, but it does have their turbine connectors, which I think they were putting on their better cables back then. I don't recall what my price was, but I think it was pretty cheap.

TDR picture is below. The cable starts off at 70ohms and rises to 75 ohms. This rise is most likely due to the skin effect in the center conductor. The propagation through this cable implies it uses air impregnated teflon dielectric.

I'll leave it at that, since this thread is intended to only deal with the characteristic impedance of interconnects rather than sound.
