Every once in a while I go out to the local Cheapo and try to pick up some music that I am not familiar with. Tonight I got "The George Benson Collection" and some latin album by Issac Delgado, "Con Ganas." The latter reminds me of my trip to Mexico, I absolutely loved the music there. The former is also terrific, but I am still only on beer one and the latter album, and the night is young  If anyone can recommend any great latin music like this, please do so, I love this stuff :)

I'll leave the Benson alone, and say I'm not familiar at all with Delgado's ouevre. If it's along the lines of SoCal Mexican music, have you heard Ry Cooder's Chavez Ravine?

If more world-music inclined, I'm always anxious to suggest Strunz & Farah to anyone- Jorge Strunz is a national hero of Costa Rica, and a guitar wizard beyond compare; his compatriot is Iranian- they make wonderful music.
