Hello!

I'm curious what records you think spins best on your vintage stereos... I think that there's something very gratifying in playing period records, and I'm always up for some new stuff to check out.

Cheers/

Interesting topic, makes me think of the 61 Fisher Ambassador Console in my kitchen. I refurbished the speaker compartments with Altec full range drivers and seeburg high freq. horns via Electro Voice crossovers. The amp is the original 690 with ell80 driver tubes, the turntable is the original Dual 1009 upgraded with a Shure v15 3 and HE stylus. I was thinking Bill Monroe and Flatt and Scruggs when I put it together and it does fine. However for some reason Joe Jackson sounds better on this old dog than any of my other fancy gear. Maybe its the height of the ceiling or the hard tile floor. Darn, now I have to go listen. Thanks for the topic. Jay :thmbsp:
