Because of reasons beyond my control I was stereo-less for almost 15 years, wellll, that's not quite true but I didn't have the room to setup a TT and my records were left packed in boxes, many boxes, since 1992. Cassette tapes yes, records no.

I finally convinced the powers that be to let me reconfigure and redecorate the living room last year and I was finally able to clean-up and refinish my two 6' double height record cabinets and hookup all my stereo gear, well almost all as I have quite a bit :)

Over the weekend I bought 3 Nils Lofgren albums, including a live album from about '76 or so, a late 80s Who album, Tears for Fears, Carlene Carter, Rosanne Cash, Fabulous Thunderbirds and a bunch of other stuff from a used record store. Fortunately they were all in good shape and played well which isn't always the case when buying used vinyl. If my buying habits continue I may need to buy another record cabinet, for now I just store them on the floor as I have no more room and I think I'm tempting the powers that be with all my stuff.

It's nice to be able to spin some music although I still can't crank it too loud like in the old days :(

BTW, is there a place to post some photos I took over the years of various musicians? There are several dedicated websites which posted my photos - Rhinocerous, Slade, the Who and a few others who were interested.
