Hi:
based on recommendations from this site, I cleaned the controls of my G-5700 hoping to remedy an intermittent right channel output problem. Unfortunately to no avail... the controls are all perfectly working, however the problem still remains. Usually when I switch the unit on, only the left channel kicks in. The right channel is dead (no sound output and also no signal at the LED meter), similarly, no sound in the headphone. The proplem may be a loose connection (however I didn't see anything when I serviced the pots etc), because when I lift the chassis at the right front, the right channel begins to work (not always, but sometimes). The problem is less prevalent after sufficient warm-up time. Finally, when I turn the speakers off and increase the volume to a large level, the right channel kicks in. Often, however, when I then decrease volume and switch the speakers on, it kicks out. It doesn't matter whether I have the speakers on A or B. Any advice, help and diagnostics for this problem would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Stefan
