An audio club, that I kind of coordinate for, is having a get together on Monday May 12th at 5:30 PM in Okemos, MI. We have some special guests, namely Doug Knudsen, from Buggtussel Loudspeakers to come and talk about the speaker design and to listen to some of their speakers.

The meeting is next week Monday - May 12th. I hope some of the people form this site can make it. I am really looking forward to hearing the Buggtussel speakers. They will be powered by my Onkyo M-5130 Amp, Kenwood Basic Model C1 preamp, and a an old Denon DCD-520 CD player. Speaker wire is some old Monster Cable XP and RCA jacketed interconnects (nothing too fancy).

For shits and giggles, I will move my Royd Doublets to the basement for this meeting - using these for comparison. It should be fun.

Hope to see people from Michigan there - Grumpy said he will try to make it. I hope others will too.

EVEN if I do say so myself!!! :boink: It was interesting to hear the Buggtussel Amygdala speakers and one from their new low end line. Grumpy seemed to enjoy himself - I hope you didn't get into too much trouble!!!! :lmao:

Yep we had great time. Dave and his wife were great hosts. Kevin and Doug from Buggtussel were awesome. They make some mighty fine Transmission line speakers. They look and sound top notch ! Just a wee bit pricey for my budget. They did carry a product called Vinyl-zyme for cleaning Lp's. I have been trying it out for a little while. Once I get done with my Evaluation I will post my thoughts on it. I will be looking for a couple of more guys to try out this cleaner in the near future.
