Yeah I got some new fangled drink coaster player thingamabob now. I figured for a buck yep one dollar I would give it a try. Its a Denon DVD-3000. guy I bought it from says his kid had trouble with it so out it goes. I brought it home and it does play really nice but after about a half hour it froze the picture up. Hey I figure for a buck what the hell. I hand it off to my kid who rips the cover off and he calls me over to show me how hot it is inside. After a bit of research on the net I find out its pretty much a hate hate relationship most owners had with this particular Denon. Seems they all did this. Some of the reviews said Denon wanted 400.00 to fix it and then it just broke in a year again. Pretty sad for a unit that cost 90.00 smackers ! Well I came across one reviewer who said he threw a fan on his and it works much better. I dug up a fan and it did help but I think I am gonna need a more serious fan. Hell I may just run it without the freaking cover. What do I care :D Not like I own any DVD's. One of these days I will get my arm twisted enough to buy a DVD player that is nice but for now. Its a $1 player for the me ;)
