Hi,
I have purchased a Turntable from a guy down in Eugene Oregon, and now I'm trying to figure out how I can get my hands on this thing, and yet still have it arrive in one piece. :scratch2:
I don't trust UPS/Fedex since this guy does not have the orignal box to ship this unit in. Anyway, I could really use some help here, if anyone happens to be taking a road-trip up to Western Washington. It doesn't have to go the entire distance to Seattle, but if I can at least get it up into western Washtington, I could arrange to meet to pick it up.
Any help that can be offered would be greatly appreciated!

I someone doesn't give it a ride, I hear Greyhound is really good about handling and inexpensive. Straight shot up I-5.

I think there's a get together at kfa888's place in Vancouver coming up. If someone can get the tt there from Eugene, perhaps someone can get it from there closer to Seattle.

That's a great idea! Even if somebody could just simply get it to Vancover, that would in itself be a big improvement. My wife has a friend who regularly travels down to Portland, so this might be feasable.. :scratch2:
Heck, I'd even consider attending this gathering, if I knew anything about it, and it would fit into my schedule! <hint, hint> :D

A date hasn't been set yet - supposed to be sometime this Spring.

Plans are currently on hold for the moment, so no set dates and no real approximate range of time, but it will happen -- even if we have to camp on Kelly's driveway.
If a date becomes set and you can't make it, I can definitely haul the turntable up to Seattle.

bump. Back on topic: Still no luck with this... Can anyone help, or do I need to risk the UPS gorrillas?

Goldear I might be able to pick up the TT in Eugene if it could be done on a weekend
I have a couple of thrifts I want to seach for vinyl down there and it's only 75 miles south of me. If there is a get together anywhere near Portland or Vancouver I will be attending

No need Mark, I already got all the good vinyl this weekend. :D Well, if you like Roger Miller that is. :music:
Don't forget to check out House of Records near campus.

Hi Mark!
That would be extremely cool, if you can pull it off! The oufit that has it is open from 10:00 to 2:00pm on Saturdays, but closed on Sundays. Does this sound potentially feasable to you?
