Heres something alittle newer. :) And again I will give you a couple of lines. Ya better have a good search engine or know this one.
Some say a comet will fall from the sky.
Followed by meteor showers and tidal waves.
Followed by faultlines that cannot sit still.
Followed by millions of dumbfounded dipshits.

Nice job Wardsweb! Do you like Marc Cohn at all? Here's a more obscure tune..
Times when the day is like a play by Satre
When it seems a bookburning's in perfect order
I gave the doctor my description
I've tried to stick to my perscriptions

He tells her he's sorry, she tells him it's over,
he tells her he's sorry, she says over and over
You've never really known that when the white flag is flown,
no one no one no one has won the war.

Let me interject here my life has been music.
My father was a musician, my sister has her degree in music, everyone in my family plays an instrument (except me-I only play the stereo), music is playing 8-10 hours a day in my life.

Yeah but the BareNaked Ladies aren't big in Texas are they? I wouldn't have fathomed you even having heard of them. Oh well time to quit with the lyrics you're obviously too good for this game. I mean " the flag" is not exactly a top 40 tune and was never released as a single. So if you got that I don't think I could stump ya.
Mike
how's about:
I'm working hard, you're working too
We do it everyday
For every minute I have to work
I need a minute to play

If anyone knows this one well , ya gotta respect em'
the first verse goes likea this:
Blue room,I see children, flying near me, in the sun
Budding springness, Blue awareness, But to this I can succumb.
Heck I never even heard of them untill i came across the album at a garage sale.

Try this one guys (and gals)
Big man, pig man, ha ha charade you are.
You well heeled big wheel, ha ha charade you are.
And when your hand is on your heart.
You're nearly a good laugh.
Almost a joker.
With your head down in the pig bin.
That should be enough clues, eh!
Db got it! I have no clue what those lyrics are tho, with all the pig references is it a pink floyd song??

You got it my man.
Thor, you had the band right. Roger Waters sure had a way with words, eh.
Try this one
Really don't mind if you sit this one out.
My words but a whisper - your deafness a SHOUT.
I may make you feel but I can't make you think.
Your sperm's in the gutter - your love's in the sink.
That should be enough.

Try this one:
"And the meek shall inherit the Earth."
Damn, I'm making this too easy. Forget that one. Try this,
Life it seems, will fade away
Drifting further every day
Getting lost within myself
Nothing matters no one else

.....a little more.......
I have lost the will to live
Simply nothing more to give
There is nothing more for me
Need the end to set me free
A very metalic song don't you think.
No dinner tonight if you can't manage this now.
