I recently acquired an Empire turntable, I believe it's a 298. It's missing the cable from the tonearm that has the RCA plugs on one end and a female 5 pin plug on the other end. It does not appear to me to be a standard DIN connection and I am having some trouble locating one. Does anyone know of a DIY method of connecting the RCA plugs to the tonearm without disassembling the 5 pin plug? I would like to keep it intact for when I eventually locate the proper cable, but in the meantime I can't wait to listen to my new baby. Suggestions?
