I have a double album "Blue Note Live At The Roxy" Recorded June 28 1976. Vinyl could use a good cleaning, but is in relatively good condition. If you're interested, Consider it an AK donation.

Also have one called "Stick It", by Buddy Rich. Not quite as good (fair)condition, but still plays fine. Lemme know, I'll ship it with the Blue Notes.

Grumpy:
You can have my Blue Note jazz vinyl when you can pry my cold dead hands off the TT. And don't reply, "If that's the way you want it." because it will not be pretty! <G>
What, have you been looking at Blue Note jazz valuations on that auction site? The pricing is going through the roof. I know a local record dealer that will buy it almost sight unseen.

My post was partially in jest. I love BN's but wont pay the stupid money that some will bring just because they have the right address on the label. Hell I don't even mind the Japanese reissues of them :)

Grumpy: I figured as much and replied in kind. It really is crazy how the market for them has changed in the past year. The Japanese reissues are fine quality from what I understand. If I find a BN record in a thrift, I'll buy it just for the cover these days even if the vinyl is shot. Don't see many, though, but have every so often. Any particular artist on BN you're looking for?

In the spirit of this thread, I'll take your old Pacific Jazz LPs and EPs off your hands. My father-in-law has a nice collection of West Coast LPs and EPs from the 50s. I "borrow" them occasionally. I've been getting into the vibes lately (Terry Gibbs).
