I really should know better yet I talk myself into getting pooped on time after timeafter time.......stupid me. I bought a 55 lb power amp on ePray. Then wrote a nice friendly letter to the seller telling him how I'd like him to package the unit. Paid extra to have it done "my way" not his way.

Unit is shipped via UPS........power amp is crushed........rear end is caved in. Seller did most everything I asked......double boxed but sorta neglected to put packing material between the two cardbord layers. :nono: :nono: :nono:

As punishment I'am going to write 500 times:

I will never buy gear that I can't pick up in person.I will never buy gear that I can't pick up in person.I will never buy gear that I can't pick up in person.I will never buy gear that I can't pick up in person.I will never buy gear that I can't pick up in person.I will never buy gear that I can't pick up in person.I will never buy gear that I can't pick up in person.I will never buy gear that I can't pick up in person.I will never buy gear that I can't pick up in person.I will never buy gear that I can't pick up in person.I will never buy gear that I can't pick up in person.I will never buy gear that I can't pick up in person.I will never buy gear that I can't pick up in person.I will never buy gear that I can't pick up in person.I will never buy gear that I can't pick up in person.I will never buy gear that I can't pick up in person.I will never buy gear that I can't pick up in person.I will never buy gear that I can't pick up in person.I will never buy gear that I can't pick up in person.I will never buy gear that I can't pick up in person.I will never buy gear that I can't pick up in person.I will never buy gear that I will never buy gear that I can't pick up in person.I can't pick up in person.I will never buy gear that I can't pick up in person...................

So far so good, I have taken the Spec 4 apart and have only found slight damage to two PCB's. One has a broken mounting pad which I fixed with epoxy and the other has a crack that goes through a trace. I soldered a jumper accross the broken trace so its as good as new. Had to pound out the sheet metal a tad. Fortunately all the hammering need to be done on the real panel.

I'm so mad that I can's see straight...dog is avoiding me, waf is sleeping in the car.

My experience with all of the carriers lately is as follows: ANY package that weighs more than 10-15 lbs and is bigger than a bread box is handled only by dropping(preferably on the corners), scooting, kicking, rolling or any other method that saves the driver or package handlers from actually picking up the item and treating it with reasonble care. Throwing is allowed if they are in a good mood and have help with the toss. :scratch2:
