name basically says it out, just looking for something decent to record on when i'm done my projects here. as well as looking for a few new projects.

A guy I work with, has a Tascam 8-channel recorder/mixer thingie... uses standard cassette tapes. He said he's still gotta check it out (hasn't been used recently), but if it works, he'd take $100.00 for it...

failing this, i could really use a good USB audio interface for the comptuer, that'd be a good compromise.

Tascam 238 Syncaset. Seems to work fine. We don't have the cabling/mics/etc. to test out the recording facility, but the transport seems to shuttle tape fine. All 8 channels show signal, on playback...
