I just put on some Lou Reed and was reminded of her. Anyone else into her thing? I saw her in concert last year and it was a trip! I even got her to scribble on my CD:D

Hmmm... I gotta get "Home of the Brave" Try "The Ugly One With the Jewels," it's her telling some stories. Nice stuff that puts you to sleep with her soothing voice.;) botrytis 05-15-2003, 07:44 AM There were several groups out that you could trip to - Like Laurie Anderson. Try Tuxedomoon - you want obscure - I think I have most of their albums - pretty trippy. Laurie was really ahead of the times with the performance art thing. Dave millerdog 05-16-2003, 08:07 AM Bot, Yeah, I got into her when I saw her on David Letterman waaaaaay back when she played with a violin...or was it a viola..don't remember. Her music is clever and interesting to say the least.:) |
