I just found this place thanks to a useful link on another forum and thought I'd register my name while its still available :D

Anyways up, by way of introduction I'll leave this link to my site where I host a few turntable manuals and stuff for free download - I'll also invite you to share any you have if you'd like to scan me anything I haven't got yet :dunno: - or you can leave a request if I'm missing something you need. Its early days yet (5 months) but its starting to shape up - just don't comment on the design, I'm way too busy to fix it at the moment..

See you around the board

Glad to have you and welcome aboard. I have visited your site several times in the past and found it to be very helpful. I will do my best to get you some scans of a few of my manauls. Keep up the good work and please drop by any time you would like.

I knew someone must know about it :p: the little counter keeps ticking away..

Anyone with scanned manuals is welcome to send them to me and I've made a few changes tonight that might make things easier for those that have had trouble viewing them in the past.

Great board by the way and I've added it to my links page already!

Like your site JaS.:)

I don't have many manuals but have one for the AT1120 arm which doesn't appear on your site.

Thanks for your comments, it seemed like a good idea when I first started it and it's snowballed from there :p:
I've had a lot of people contribute to the archive, including some manufacturers, so maybe one day we'll have everything? And for free!

Oh yeah and Jack, please send me a copy of the AT1120 manual if you get a chance, its been requested in my email several times in the past and you'd make someones day. Help yourself to anything interesting of course...

cheers

Vinylengine, I just left there. I hope you can hang around here for a while. Looks good  As soon as I figure out how to download a manual, I will take you up on it. Thanks for the freebies!:D Brad

JaS,

Can you PM me with your snail mail as I'd rather send copies that way? Too much hassle for me to scan and email all the pages.

I'll register at your site tonight as I'm looking for the Morch UP4 manual, having just agreed to help a friend to get his The Source/Morch/Empire combo going. That's going to be interesting and fun.:)

Jack

PS do you know where I might find the manual for The Source?

First, Hi Jack
The Morch manual is up as is the Morch cartridge fitment list, all thanks to Hans Menrich Moerch himself! Tbone on Audio Asylum (http://www.audioasylum.com/index.html/) has a 'Source' manual which he has said he may scan sometime - I think he may be too busy but try giving him a nudge :uzi: , he's a nice guy and will help out if he can. My snail mail is in the UK, where are you in the world?

Secondly, Hi Steamshooter
Sorry it's a bit tricky working out how to get the manuals - I plan to look at navigation seriously soon - the sites slowly grown with very little work on this aspect of it. Heres some pointers for now:

Look on the 'Library' page for a list of all current manuals, if you find one (or two) you want sign up for the 'Forum' and you get access to the 'members area' section at the bottom - browse for the manual you want and click on the URL in the message, Acrobat 5 should pick up the link and it will start to display in your browser. Hit the 'save' button in Acrobat to save to your hard drive (best done when the manual has just started to display as sometimes the manual may not display fully).
A download FAQ in the forum explains most fixes to common problems, including a link to Acrobat 5 (free reader) for most platforms which is why I chose this format.

Help yourself and I'll see you around AK

I'm sure it's in my end. I couldn't even get the manual from Backspin. I've got Acrobat 5, I just haven't figured out why it's not working correctly :( I really hate spending time fixing this thing, when I could be doing something more fun (like working in the yard at 95 degrees w/ 87 percent humidity  ) Brad

Hi JaS,

Yeah, I saw a couple of T-Bone's posts at AA. He and my buddy are the only people I know of that own the Source. I'll post a message for TBone at some stage i..e when I've got more info on the arm tube on the UP4. I'm in Melbourne, Oz. Which part of the UK are you in?

cheers

Outside my window five minutes ago - my mate Jake sticking his head through the hole he ate in my hedge!

I'm enjoying life in the wet and windy Peak District of England at the moment, just a short hop from the Commonwealth games in Manchester (14 miles but I still haven't been up recently). Summers in full swing here and the rain never stops - Stuck between Manchester and Leeds means great music country, everyones in writing it or listening to it. Me I prefer to spin others attempts rather than torture the world with my caterwalling..

Meanwhile my bikes staying in the garage - the roads are like a river! Hows life in Melbourne?

JaS,

Sounds like a typical Engllish summer to me ;) . Err, wouldn't mess with jake there or any cranky old billy for that matter.! Peak district is very scenic country. Based on what I saw in a bbc series not long ago - bunch of doctors IRCC. Very nice.

Winter here in Melb, don't mind the cold and I'm looking forward to skiing.:)

Re the manual, did you want just the English portion(7 pages) or the other languages as well?

I was half way through moving web space when I discovered my new host doesn't work with some of my scripts, then unexpectedly I found I have to go overseas on Friday due to work, so the whole thing is down. If I get a chance I will finish when I get back, but as I do all the programming and admin, and my business is pretty busy, it might take a while before I have time now. I'll leave a note here on AudioKarma if I get around to fixing it, I may have to put it back on my old host or it may move who knows where but www.vinylengine.com will point to it.

Off to sunny Spain!

ps my long since abandoned CD laser site Digital Jitter (http://www.blackpudding.fsnet.co.uk/digital_jitter/index.htm) is still up for those who need a technical fix.
