I am listening to his boxed set "Sweet Dreams"The Anthology.Wow,he could play,track 1 cd 2 he is playing Neil Young's "Down by the River" with Billy Price on vocals.Awesome
It is quite an interesting set,cd 1 opens with cuts from the never released album "Prophet" with Charlie Daniels on vocals.They do a cover of leonard Cohen's"Story of Isaac" great Stuff!!

Also "Messiah Will Come Again" is gut wrenching. And "Fly...Night Bird" is simply amazing.

Have you ever seen the video " Further on Down the Road?"
It features Albert Collins, Lonnie Mack, and Roy Buchanan. They are live at Carnegie Hall. It also includes interviews with other players.
Hearing Roy play is one thing but watching him play is really something else. He was all business.
On a side note. While reading all of the "bad" news about Oreo cookies a smile comes across my face. Lonnie Mack sings his " Oreo Cookie Blues" in this video. Many years ago at a friends bar after he closed for the night. Lonnie Mack, Al, Don, and myself sat around eating Oreo cookies and drinking Rolling Rock.
