I'm trying to help a friend find replacements for the meter bulbs for a BA-200 amplifier. I've not seen the bulbs or the amp personally but my friend has been told they are some kind of unobtainium fuse lamp. Does anyone have experience replacing bulbs in this or some other similar BA-series Sansui.

Thanks,

Denis

Hi Stene,

Thanks for the link. I know Dave but I wanted to know the voltage and current ratings before ordering. My friend thought that part of the "specialness" was the fact it was used in Sansui's with the "mysterious" green glow. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Denis

BA-2000 = 7V 0.3A

The "green glow" is either a blue\green filter or a tint applied directly to the bulb. I've seen both concepts in a number of amps.

Thanks Stene and Seadzz - It looks like all I need is an easily found fuse bulb with a tint applied.

Just to complete this thread; I contacted Dave and he has the bulbs and will tint them for a very reasonable price.
