I have a pair of Micros similiar to these. I've yet to hear them (in storage 'till the house is finished), but was told bass is adequate (but not great- unless you run 'em with lots of power) but the multi peerless tweeter arrangement is outstanding.
Here's the link...
If you bid, good luck!

Thedelihaus, Do you believe the FRM-2 were the better of the pair? I have only one of the FRM-2 set but it is a fantastic speaker.

The guy seems to have problems with communicating and shipping. And has had a couple disputes filed. I saw these earlier but decided to pass just because of his Feedback/Comments postings from previous buyers. Could be a heck of a seller with some startup problems, just didn't want to chance it.

I still haven't got a chance to listen to mine, believe it or not. When I do, I'll be sure to post a full review however. The contractors here are taking forever finishing my house so they've been in storage. I look forward to it- I'd like to see if I like 'em or not!
The ones listed look pretty impressive but I have no idea how they sound. Mine are also the FRM-2s, which are the supposed step up, but the listed FRM-1s seem to be quite nicely built and set up, and might sport a few more speakers on the tweeter array (whether good or bad there's more tweets, I dunno).
But before you bid, consider this...

Thanks for the heads up, Zebra.

I have what I think are FRM-1s with 5 small dome tweeters in the array and a big woofer with cloth surrounds.
I've never liked them except when playing loud rock.

i have said it once and will say it again for simple vocals the MA speakers are great!!!The speakers handle the vocals in a very seductive and tonal arousing way.

If PaulFxl's FRM-1s are dome, they may not sound like the peerless tweeter triple array in the FRM-2. Could be a whole different sound...
I read that there is a 3 or 4 array Peerless setup that folks would use to modify their Advents. They'd sell this array and it'd bolt onto the tops of their Advent boxes. Read about it, but have never seen it, nor heard it.
