sub/sat systems

I have decided to migrate my "vintage" speakers to my office for stereo listening pleasure. That said, I'm looking for a nice, but not too expensive, HT speaker system. I've seen the BB and CC regulars, but haven't been impressed. Since I'm used to Norman Lab and Polk Monitors I don't have a lot of experience with sub/sat systems.

What would others recommend?

NHT makes a nice HT package. So does Paradigm and Energy. I'm not sure if Polk makes a HT set but I'd imagine they would. Another brand to explore would be Axiom. You can buy factory direct from them and if it was me I'd shop for their blemished speakers. The blemishes are so small as to be imperceptible and you can save a good chunk of change.
