I saw Sansui S-1000 at my local thrift store. It cost 75.00 dollars. It is worth buying it because I already have too many speakers. I did not know much about this speaker.

Haven't heard of an S-1000. Sure it not SP-1000's?

Here's a link to a set on the Bay to compare:

It is not SP-1000 because it has 12" woofer. It is a good size floor speakers or taller than the SP-1000.

I believe they might be the Sansui Classique S-1000? These were made in the mid 80's. No where near as well built as the older Sansui Speakers. IMO not worth the $75.00 price tag
