That sensitivity of 102 dB is something, and at 8 Ohm impedance. Would be be very to drive. Tube power might be real nice with those guys.
Any more impressions to come?
nice looking speaks BTW. Enjoy.

Yep, these drive easier than the bose 301 2's i have, kept switching back and forth speaker a then b the infinity's are a lot louder at the same volume setting. Boy the neighbors are gonna kill me.

Congrats Beerman,
My daughter just incorporated a smaller version, the SM 150 into her home theater system and is very pleased with hers. Nice find. What are you powering them with?

There is a black set on the 'bay right now, but pickup only and they are 350 miles away. I am in the market for a big set of Infinity's to go with the Kenwood M2A 220wpc amp I just got. Post some pictures if you get the time.

Beerman, I have the solution to the "Neighbor" problem. Next time you are rocking out to your favorite tune, and the neighbors are nocking on the walls, go stand in your doorway and wave your pecker at them... I guaranty that when they call the cops on ya, they won't even mention the loud music.....

:lmao: My god.....that paints quite a picture.
I think though, I would rather be explaining the loud music to the judge than the waving thing........

Got a pair of the SM155's, which are the next newest version... Run them with a Sony STR-AV910 (100WPC receiver from '89). Quite loud. Even when the volume is at zero, you can still barely hear whatever's playing.
