Just wondeing if anyone has rewired an S - Shaped arm (in this case it is a Pioneer PL-630) that uses a universal headshell. What wire did you use? Anything special to look for? How big of a PITA was it to do? What kind of results did you get?

Bigerik,
I really like the tonearm wiring used by Dual back in the 1218 days. Very tiny, very flexible high-grade coax. Maybe Adam at South Street Service Company still has some of this.

Shgerbourne Labs sells some nice quadded wire. Here is a tip; when you solder the wire to the pins in the headshell socket, fasten the socket assembly to an empty headshell. This pulls the heat away from the 'sliding' pin contacts, else they can stick to the plastic part of the assembly and cause contact greif later.
