Sterling SS2004 woofer foam help?

I picked up a pair of these today, and ran into a snag when looking into new foam. This woofer (8" IMG) has a plastic trim ring which covers the outer edge of the foam. It's apparently glued on. I pushed and pried lightly, but this sucker is on there good. This ring is fully visible when the covers are off these, and I really don't want to mess it up. Anyone have experience with these? Ideas? Solvents?

Try some Isopropyl alcohol which should loosen the glue enough to get the trim ring off. Test a small area first to make sure it won't eat the plastic.
