Cambridge CDP upgrades?

I read in a cambridge audio brochure that they were able to upgrade the dac sections of cdp's but i havent been able to get a straight awnser!. I have a D300 ( not the se ) do they make the dac's available to essentially turn my d300 into a d500?

Are they doing anything about the paint on their cdp remotes? i know this is something a bunch of people mentioned, mine looks pretty bad since a bunch of the grey paint stuff came off :(

There is indeed an upgrade available that will turn your D300 into a D500SE. The list price for this upgrade is $179, but I can do a bit better than that. Please send me a private message if you're interested.

Regarding the Cambridge remotes, I haven't had any problems with the finish on mine - perhaps they were improved during the past year? If you'd like a new remote, let me know.
