After waiting for a year or so I finally found an orphan AR7 for a replacement woofer I needed. Well Mr. Fed Ex deleivered it to the apt. building I live in but had a stranger sign for it. Nobody ever heard of the name on the reciept so no idea what happpened to it. Good thing is I'm probably only going to be out $20, but hate to start the search process over again for another woofer. Is it common for these shipping companies to have strangers sign for packages?

The only reason FedEx drivers do not have your dog sign for a package it because the dog does not have a thumb. Barring that small genetic oversight they would.

Maybe a dog did sign for it, afterall -- it was a woofer.
(I am extremely embarrassed by the above comment, however it still made me laugh....)
