Some time back, AK member Cabinover offered up a Philips GA-312 tt with some minor issues for the price of a small donation to AK. Having long wanted a 212 or 312, I took him up on the offer. Unfortunately, by the time the USPS got through with it (and NOT due to Cabinover's packing, which was very good and wholly appropriate for a tt), it had some less minor issues -- most notably, a bent tonearm :-( Long story short, Cabinover sought out a replacement arm, which I recently received. He would accept no remuneration for the arm or even for the postage. I really appreciate his determination to do things right (even though it was "just one of those things"), so I figured the least I could do was give him some formal, positive feedback.
