Terrific music in both those hauls, guys! I loves me some Lindisfarne.

I snagged that one because the name sounded familiar from back in the day; I remembered them as English folkies like Pentangle, Fairport Convention, and earl T. Rex. We played it an a small gathering yesterday of the "locals" and it was EXTREMELY well received!!

I think it was their 3rd album.. The 1st two, Nicely Out Of Tune and Fog On The Tyne are even better. They actually hung on for many years on the British scene until one of the founding members (Alan Hull, I think) died several years ago.

I was out yesterday and stopped by a very local sale. Talking with the owner and find out he was in the radio business a long time ago and then mobile DJ's. Says he has some 7000 lps in an upstairs room. Short story, had a stack of freebies and told me to take all. One is "Seven Deadly Sins" by Rinder and Lewis. See it on e$ay for $45 except mine has a green label instead of white. Need to keep an eye on that house.

Lotsa good music there.

I've bought about a 100 new albums in the past 3 months and take my time listening to them. It's always a surprise to find something great that I missed in the past.

One of the problems of having a large record collection is that the pickings get slimmer and I've branched into new types of music as I age. I still find great records but it is getting harder.

Ever on the hunt.
