As most of you know, the forum went down again last night. The server was full, and there was no one here to delete files, as we normally have to do during the day when no one notices.
After monkeying with that nonsense for too long, the webmaster at last has access to the new gigantor servers, and will be doing the migration any minute now. He doesn't think it will cause any disruption, but you never know, so I'm posting this in here just in case.
Hopefully, we be up and running at full capacity very soon, and I thank everyone for sticking with us through this rough time. It means a lot to have such a loyal fanbase. And thanks also to the good folks at AudioKarma for being nice enough offer this space...that is very cool. See you back over there!

Just trying to be friendly. Think of this as your cabin in the woods and your big mansion is over on Klipsch. So, be it just getting away from the masses for a while or while doing renovations, we'll keep the light on for ya.

Thanks, Wardsweb. I'll be sure to alert our customer service and tech support staff to recommend this site to our customers who need peer assistance. It is a great forum!

Amy,
I still wish you could make it to the Pilgrimage next week so I could say "thanks" in person for all you do.

Well, with all the devotions to Pioneer speakers in these parts, I kind of see this as "slumming" a little bit. ;)
...or an Evangelistic Mission.

I know, me too. I just have too many family commitments right now to get away. You guys are going to have a blast, too!! And I want to say CONGRATULATIONS early to the winner of the special door prize... it's a doozy :)

You just keep raising those kids right, and everything else works out. As an example: looks like BOTH of my young son-in-laws are coming with me to Hope!

I'll do my best :) I'm sure Steven will be joining all of you on these forums in, say, 13 years or so! I can't see how he'll be able to get out of being an audio lover!

Dat is you, isn't it? I remember Steven's name. I thought maybe it was someone pretending to be our DenMother. SO you are the real deal? Now I wonder what kind of FOrum this will be. Will it be for the people who don't feel loved at the 'real' forum, or the renegades, or those who can't follow rules, or will it just be the same bunch of jokers in an alternate universe????

What? Haven't you seen all the Pioneer CS-99 threads in the 2 channel forum over there? :lmao:

hi jcmjrt,
i actually havnt gotten the preamp yet as i just bought it last week.the preamp is a mcintosh c8 clone.i've always wanted to try a c8 but the prices were always a bit too high on those so when this came around with a bin of $50 i grabbed it.i have a single mcintosh mc 30 that i intend to use it with in a mono setup with a electrovoice aristocrat speaker setup that has a fullrange coaxial in it.

If you've got the right speakers and TT/cartridge to go with it that should be killer!
