As the exclusive U.S. retailer for Yamamoto Sound Craft, I am pleased to announce the introduction of two more unique audiophile items from this Japanese company:
1) MGB-1 Floating Magnetic Audio Base

Yamamoto has long been recognized for their "resonanance-tuning" African ebony and Japanese cherry audio bases (click here (http://www2.117.ne.jp/~y-s/images/Audio-accesorys-sougou-2006.jpg) to view their current lineup of accessories), and the new MGB-1 represents Yamamoto's ultimate audio base design. Featuring sculpted ebony disks, ceramic contact points, neozium ring magnets, and an ultra-low-friction teflon guide, the MGB-1 may very well be the best "affordable" levitating isolation device yet.

2) SUT-02 Step-Up Transformer for Low-Impedance MC Cartridges

A good step-up transformer should allow you to use ultra-low-output and/or ultra-low-impedance phono cartridges with “standard” phono sections while getting completely out of the way of the music – and that is exactly what the new SUT-02 does. Improving upon Yamamoto’s award-winning SUT-01 in several ways, the SUT-02 enables the use of numerous exotic and excellent-sounding MC cartridges.
To read Yamamoto’s own description of the SUT-02, click here (http://www2.117.ne.jp/~y-s/SUT-02-new-e.html). Tentative U.S. retail price = $525 per mono transformer or $1025 per stereo pair.
