The Regal Cinema i was at in PA used Klipsch speakers. It was like a...15.2 system.

2 woofers, 6 speakers per side all the way down the wall, and probably 2 channels in front, with a center. who knows how many speakers it is per channel.

that is all.

I believe Klipsch claims more than 50 percent of the threater market a their own...how did it sound???

Regal buys a lot of the bottom-half of the fabled Jubilee. Regal is also a highly leveraged company that buys other, older, theater chains to (in part) get access to Employee Retirement funds in order to keep leveraging.

There could be some nice deals on big Klipsch bass-horns in the future. Keep reading the business pages. ;-)

the theater sounded pretty good...i'm an evolving audio freak, and i sensed alot of weakness in the theater...let alone in our terrible non centered seating, but it sounded pretty nice. i liked hearing the sound "climb" the progression of speakers.
