Wow-I've never been in here before:beerchug: ...I just traded for a mint Mac 4100 receiver with wood cabinet and have no idea (OK maybe some idea as I did an Ebay search) of its value for future reference. The previous owner sent it back to McIntosh in March for a clean up, new walnut side panels, alignment, testing etc etc and the unit is now back to factory specs (not bad for a 20 year old piece of gear) and is mint mint mint. What's a 4100 in this kind of condition worth? Thanks in advance.

Had one of these. Used they go for 800 to 1299 depending how lucky the seller is. Sounds like you have a nice one. Should last a long time. Gave mine to my son with instructions: "if it breaks don't throw it away." My second Mac is the MA 6100 intergrated amp. While the 4100 is good I like the the build quality of the MA 6100. Though my son loves the 4100. Enjoy!:uzi:
