I was at Back Alley Disc today and picled up 2 cds @ $15ea. Chas wasn't working and the young man working there was trying to do his best.

First he said I couldn't use Visa as he had run out of paper,Chas keeps it under the counter.Ok i responded I'll use interac.

He goes to work out the tax aand he turns to his wife and says I can't charge tax the calculator won't work.

Now we have 6% Gst and 10% Pst.

I looked at him and said tax will be $4.98.gee Thanks he says

Obviously his first day of retail

Going through the drive-thru at a McDonald's in Tennessee, the Girl gave me incorrect change. (I mean really, the computer does it all for you anyway, it's just identifying coins and currency by their markings, RIGHT?)

So I point it out, and she looks at me, looks at the screen, looks at the change in my hand, looks at me, looks at the screen, and says...

"Mc DUH"! :lmao: :lmao:

(I have a witness if you don't believe it!)

Have you ever looked at the keyboard on a Micky D's register? There are no prices or numbers. Only pictographs of each menu item. :smoke:

Apparently, they don't teach kids to use pencil and paper anymore in school. Imagine what they'd say if they saw a slide rule.

I can remember when calculators first came out (bright red #s). If you got caught with one in school, you were in big trouble! Times change I reckon, Jay
